Remote at Teatro La Fenice

Software build together with Dave Towey for the opera “Surrogate Cities” at Teatro la Fenice, Venice. One of the parts of the Opera required a real time internet webcam image grabber that would also sequence the downloaded images, allowing Andy Cameron to “play” different webcam feeds life on the main screen. Andy could choose among 28 different feeds with the keyboard as well as its play speed and loop length. This allowed us to create very impacting visuals for our part of the show, as the time lapse effect of some webcams is very strong together with the music.

I worked together with Andy Cameron and Carlo Zoratti on that.
